A Smart Look for a Smart Hub

Fostering connections to accelerate innovation and economic development in Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Region is an established and recently refurbished centre known as DaSH (Dantia Smart Hub or @dashcowork in the social media space), a modern workspace where a professional network for businesses and entrepreneurs can connect and grow their initiatives.

The 450 square metres of innovation-inspiring co-working space is in the commercial heart of Lake Macquarie of Charlestown.

It took a team of the Hunter’s best. They were engaged by Dantia to transform the centre into a visual workable business space which was opened by local and state representatives in April.

Interior Designer, Emily Laird of LAIRDpaolacci was behind the space planning and Interior Design. The custom designed and manufactured joinery pieces, and the furniture were from fit-out specialists Experienced Office Furniture. And last but not least the incredible construction team at Skelcon, bought the whole project into fruition.

“The holistic design approach was to seamlessly weave a thread of form and function throughout the entire space,” said Emily.
