Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival


Rockabilly vibes and classic car cool will converge on Kurri Kurri in March when the annual celebration of 50s and 60s nostalgia takes over the town.

Combining rock’n’roll music with decked out hot rods and even hotter retro fashions, the annual Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival celebrates the best parts of those bygone eras.

Thousands of people from all over Australia flock to the two-day event, which features a classic car and hot rod ‘Show and Shine’, over 150 retro markets stalls and food vans and free entertainment along the main street.

There’s also plenty of rock’n’roll dance demonstrations, fashion parades, best dressed competitions and a sideshow alley during the day, while a program of night time evets will keep the vibe going after the sun goes down.

The street festival is free to enter, with tickets to the indoor shows available to purchase through the Kurri Kurri Visitor Information Centre or at the venues.
