Celebrate the Scottish – Aberdeen Highland Games

2 July – The Aberdeen Highland Games have gone from strength to strength since the inaugural games in 2000, and the quaint township of Aberdeen will once again be celebrating the Highland Games on 2 July after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Now incorporating a street parade as well as an increasingly packed week of commemoration in the area, the Games have become one of the pre-eminent celebrations of Scottish heritage in NSW. Come along to enjoy the festivities which will include a parade of bands, Highland and Country Dancing, Pipe Band displays, and Strong Man events with the Kilted Warriors. There will also be a multitude of stores and stands featuring Scottish heirlooms and souvenirs to enjoy, plus food and drinks.
