Bocados Spanish Kitchen
Sumptuous, warm décor, a lively atmosphere and great tasting tapas are the hallmarks of Bocados Spanish Kitchen in Newcastle East. This longstanding favourite offers a contemporary twist of traditional Spanish dishes. With favourites like Patatas Bravas, garlic prawns, empanadas and paella, the menu is vast and changes regularly, meaning one visit is never enough.
After closing in the midst of the lockdown, the Bocados is now scheduled to re-open on 22 July. Watch out for a few changes to the popular menu.
Covid 19 safety measures will be in place. Please check website as opening hourse may change at short notice.
Here’s what we had to say when we reviewed Bocados last year:
From the mushrooms to the ‘Spanish plate’, vegetables are abundant and there is a delicious selection of meat dishes such as chorizo, serrano ham, lamb and duck. Seafood also plays a starring role. With a good range of Spanish beers, Sangria and wine, this is great find for anyone who loves Spanish or South American flavours. The food, plus friendly staff and great service make it popular, so it’s probably best to book.
