Flotilla
Flotilla is the name on everyone’s lips in Newcastle right now, offering a refined casual experience, focusing on outstanding Australian produce, paying respect to producers, ingredients and sustainable practices.
Refreshing cocktails can be enjoyed with cheese and snacks on the deck or inside. A short rotational wine list offers a mix of traditional, natural and minimal intervention wines. Service is friendly, professional and casual. The atmosphere is alive with fire coming from the kitchen, hot coals displayed from the Mibrasa (coal oven), the only one of its kind in Newcastle.
Guests line the chef’s table which overlooks the kitchen, while cocktail shakers clang to the beat of Biggie or Anderson Paak. Inside, Flotilla is an intimate 38 seater restaurant, perfect for afternoon cocktails or a casual light meal.
Open Wednesday to Friday from 5pm to late; Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to late, bookings essential
