Harkham Restaurant and Bar
Regulars of the much-loved Hunter winery Harkham Wines may have noticed something different about the Pokolbin venue recently. Owner Richie Harkham, a pioneer in natural winemaking for nearly 20 years, has opened Harkham Restaurant & Bar to complement the vineyard’s popular cellar door.
The restaurant features a relaxed atmosphere and Italian fare designed for sharing. Richie collaborated with restaurateur Marco Ambrosino and head chef Shaun Nash to create a menu – split into five sections – that pairs perfectly with Harkham wines.
The space features earthy materials, a floor-to-ceiling window that opens, and a custom fireplace for cooler nights.
