Riverhouse Café, Raymond Terrace
Located overlooking the Hunter River at Raymond Terrace, Riverhouse Café is giving Terrace locals somewhere great to eat and out-of-towners a place worth visiting.
Taking advantage of its peaceful riverside spot, the former Federation home has been transformed into a friendly, relaxed eatery with great food and an even better atmosphere. While keeping much of its heritage charm, the addition of a broad deck brings added appeal, especially for lazy dining and casual coffees.
Serving all day breakfasts and all day lunches, it’s up to you if you start the day with a Riverhouse cheeseburger with all the trimmings, or tuck into a chorizo and sweetcorn frittata with spinach and feta for lunch.
Whatever time of day, you won’t want to miss the French toast – savoury or sweet versions – and the warming pea and parmesan risotto is the perfect comfort food on a cold winter’s day. Smooth brews from Glitch Coffee beans ensures a great cup every time.
Open seven days, 7.30am to 2pm.
Please check individual websites as opening hours may change at short notice.
