The 1813 cellar door
Located on picturesque Tinonee Vineyard Estate, the 1813 cellar door offers a wine tasting with a difference of its estate-grown wine label, 1813. When you visit the 1813 cellar door, prepare to be wowed right from arrival from the crush stone entrance driveway winding through the vines up to the Hamptons meets Manhattan-styled cellar door. Enjoy your wine tasting in a glasshouse set among the vines, taking in the serenity of the countryside.
Expertly crafted by industry-regarded and awarded winemaker, Daniel Binet, 1813’s fleet of wine ranges from the summer favourite, rosé, to the Hunter Valley classic, Shiraz.
The flagship wine and signature style of 1813, The Governor, is a multi-award winning reserve Shiraz matured in the finest French and American oak, only released in the best of vintages. For lovers of a more textural, rich white wine, try the 1813 Fiano, a variety only grown on Italy’s Amalfi Coast and in Australia. Another highlight is Smooth Red, made from Chambourcin, a rare hybrid grape variety that thrives in the red clay soil so typical of the Broke Fordwich region.
End the day at the onsite accommodation of Tinonee Vineyard Estate, at the charming Cottage for up to four guests, or the grandeur of the Residence which accommodates up to 12.
