One of Newcastle’s oldest and most iconic pubs has recently added a moody speakeasy to their offering. Accessible via the pub or through a grungy street entrance on Bolton Street, The Underground at The Grand will draw you in with its cosy atmosphere and quirky décor, an impressive list of signature cocktails and a well curated wine list that includes natural and lo-fi options. Non-alcoholic cocktails are also on offer.

Tuesdays are jazz nights, weekends regularly feature live music across a variety of styles. Give your vocals a workout at the fortnightly open mic nights.
