Young Street Hotel
Luke Tilse has done it again. The owner of the popular Happy Wombat watering hole on Hunter Street has just opened his second venue: the Young Street Hotel in Carrington.
Capitalising on great beer and wine, top food and a welcoming atmosphere, the Young Street Hotel is truly a place for everyone.
Perched on the corners of Young and Cowper streets, it has the imposing charm of an old-school country pub. Step inside and you’ll discover friendly hospitality and an ice-cold beer. The venue has distinct areas: the front bar, the dining room and the beer garden, plus a great kids’ playground out back and al fresco tables along the front for watching the world go by.
The food menu can be shared (pizzas, grazing boards, dips, baked brie and more) or devoured alone (chorizo linguine, barramundi, wagyu fillets, hearty salads) and be sure to keep an eye out for weekly specials.
The craft beer menu, along with the cocktails and wine, are a showcase of great Hunter and national drops. Whether you’re here for a family lunch, casual dinner, or after-work drinks, the Young Street Hotel delivers on all fronts.
Open Tuesday – Sunday 11.30am until late.
