Brae-Ella of Barrington

History becomes home as the Minters create a haven out of a corn shed and other treasures from yesteryear.

Sandy and Maurice Minter have owned Bra-Ella, their delightful property in the Gloucester district for 25 years. They would  come up for weekends for years. But it was more than ten years ago when they retired they were able to move completely from the Lake Macquarie region and  take up fulltime residence.

Maurice speaking about the location of his home said, “I love the rivers and the mountains and that so much water runs from this place. The Barrington Tops is the watershed for so many rivers. I love the rural lifestyle and the fresh air.”
