2018 marks GHD’s 90th birthday
Founded in 1928 in Melbourne, the company opened its Newcastle office in 1980 and has grown to one of the world’s leading engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services companies, employing more than 250 people in the Hunter and Northern NSW, and 10000 people across the globe. On 25 September at Merewether Surfhouse, our local office celebrated the company’s history and achievements with its clients, people, and business and community partners. Phil Pigram, Manager – Northern NSW, used his opening address to capture GHD’s rich history, knitting together its past with an optimistic future. Special guest was high-profile Australian journalist Annabel Crabb, who delivered an
engaging and insightful address, and participated in a robust Q&A with
guests.
