Building trans Tasman links
A delegation of Hunter business and civic leaders has travelled to Auckland with the goal of building stronger relationships across the Tasman sea. During the three day delegation, key Hunter and Auckland representatives were discussing business, trade and tourism opportunities created by Newcastle Airport’s direct seasonal service to Auckland.
Delegates included Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes of the City of Newcastle, Port Stephens Mayor Ryan Palmer, and Dr. Peter Cock, CEO of Newcastle Airport.
The event was organized in collaboration between Newcastle Airport, Auckland Tourism, Events & Economic Development (ATEED), Auckland Business Chamber and the Hunter Business Chamber.
