Fratelli Roma exudes quality. From the rich décor to the exquisite handmade pasta, everything sings love. Established in 2007, this family-run restaurant is set in historic Maitland and offers some of the best Italian cuisine you’ll find in the Hunter. Owners Dan and Christine have created a fitting backdrop in this beautiful circa 1867 terrace building, giving a nod to its history, yet bringing luxury and comfort to the fore. Local produce shines through the extensive menu and into the robust wine list, offering diners authentic flavours, classic elements and beautifully constructed dishes. Pasta and gnocchi are made fresh daily by Dan and his team. House made focaccia, garlic bread and bruschetta headline the entrees, while mains offer everything from delicate salads, rich pastas and fresh seafood to premium beef. Then, of course, there is a truly mouth-watering selection of desserts to look forward to at the end of your meal. Popular with locals and visitors alike, bookings are recommended as this place fills quickly.
