Simple, yet elegant and romantic

Maria Luisa and Alexander were married on 21 December 2018 at Wallalong House.

That’s the kind of wedding ceremony Maria and fiancé Alex were aiming for. Yet not much is simple, when the bride is originally from Sao Paulo/Brazil, the couple are living in London and the wedding is to take place in the Hunter. The groom’s parents, Bolwarra locals Heather and Ian McKendry, had a very busy time with overseas visitors and they enjoyed every minute of it. Eight exotic Brazilian dancers made for a huge surprise at the reception. “It was a fantastic addition and really got the party started,” says Maria.
