Walking down the aisle to the sound of bagpipes
Montarna and Nick were married on 7 December 2018 at Redleaf, Wollombi.
The bride surprised everyone by walking down the aisle to bagpipes playing Flower of Scotland. “We had three pipers with one leading my dad and I to the top of the aisle. When he started marching in front of us to get into beat we both got very emotional and everything became very real all of a sudden. We then came around the bend and I saw Nick for the first time – I’ll never forget that moment!” says Montarna. The couple loved Redleaf’s European feel with the vibe of a lush villa in the Italian or French countryside. The wedding cake was mighty indeed at 20 kilograms, half of which was white chocolate, plus two kilograms of hazelnut praline, two bottles of champagne and 1,000 poached cumquats.
