National Seniors Branch Newcastle

National Seniors Australia branches are a great place for older Australians to ensure their voices are heard on issues affecting them. They offer an opportunity to discuss community issues, participate in social events, hear informative speakers and meet like-minded people. The Branch takes an active interest in its members’ welfare and the physical and political environment. There is the opportunity for participation in a wide range of interesting social activities– bus and boat trips, theatre outings, barbecues, morning teas and lunches, as well as fitness and bowling. Newcastle branch members meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Guest speakers and performers include local singers, dancers, drummers, history buffs, and organisations meeting the needs of Seniors’ issues and interests.
