Mums & Bubs Australia

The Mums & Bubs Australia group offers mums, dads and carers a chance to get out of the house, and to connect with and support local businesses around the locations of Newcastle, Maitland and Pokolbin. Each month, the group organises a local picnic and promotes it on social media. It is open to anyone caring for little people (whether a member or not). Members know how hard it is to get out of the house on some days, so they offer fantastic incentives in the way of a free raffle, with prizes sourced from local businesses and relevant speakers such as baby sleep consultants and local midwives.

Not only do parents and carers get to make new friends and socialise, they also get to know the owners and operators of local businesses and shop around for products that suit their lifestyle. The mission at Mums & Bubs Australia is to Connect, Support & Pay it Forward. At each month’s picnic, a local charity organisation is nominated.

To date Mums & Bubs Australia have donated to Share the Dignity, the Nappy Collective, as well as Newcastle and Hunter Valley charity organisations. The three NSW locations have over 3000 members with 150+ parents and children at the monthly events and plans are afoot to launch in Western Australia and Queensland.
