Pink Buns, anyone? Go Pink this October and show your support for Breast Cancer
As Breast Cancer awareness month kicks off around the globe, the 1st October also signifies the day our burger buns turn pink at Wests, with $5 from every pink burger sold donated to such a worthy cause.
Go Pink this October with ANY burger purchase from Wests and help us raise funds for the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation (HBCF) and their supportive care services. All funds raised stay here in the Hunter to assist those women and men diagnosed with, or being treated for breast cancer, and for their families. hbcf.org.au
Together with 6 other local organisations, Red Funnel, M&J Chickens, Rarity Wholesale, Newcastle Seafood Wholesalers, Reward Hospitality and Top Cut; Wests will pledge that an incredible $5 from every pink burger sold throughout October will be donated. All you have to do is order any burger at Wests outlets during October and for no additional cost ask to ‘Go Pink’. By ordering your bun pink Wests will donate $5 from your purchase to Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation.
So head into West Mayfield, Wests City, Wests New Lambton, Wests Cardiff, Wests Nelson Bay and when you order your next burger ask to ‘Go Pink’.
“We’re asking the people of Newcastle to support us in supporting this worthy cause by opting to “Go Pink” when you order any burger available at all Wests Clubs over the next 4 weeks. It’s our mission to give a significant donation to this terrific cause, and we’re calling on you for your support.” Comments Wests Group Australia CEO, Philip Gardner.
