Rugs from Dash&Albert will tempt you to take off your shoes and feel their texture underfoot. Owner Deb has a very clear vision for the store. “We are quite selective with the brands we carry. We would never compromise on quality and only take on products that have been ethically sourced and manufactured. And we have a strong focus on sustainability, especially when it comes to the timber that’s used for our furniture. We carry rugs that have been made from recycled plastic but you would never know even when touching them. They are great for under dining tables or even outside areas,” Deb says.

In addition to the expertly curated range of furniture and homewares, they offer interior design services, curtains, blinds and shutters, custom cushions and upholstery – all with free measure and quotes. Their expertise has certainly made all the difference to Jan and Steve as they were bringing their newly created, lovely open spaces to life. “Home owners are often unsure about how to bring it all together. That’s where we can truly help and add value,” says Deb. “We never push a client into decisions they are not happy with. But we draw upon more than 20 years of experience to present homeowners with design choices that they might have never thought of on their own. And very often, they quickly and completely fall in love,” she smiles.
