Formerly known as Deck 56, this Lake Macquarie local has a new lease of life. With a re-imagined menu, The Brooks exudes carefree, delicious dining with a view. You can expect all the favourites – plus a few surprises – on the breakfast menu: from big breakfasts with the works; to the shakshuka hotpot; charred sweet corn fritters; Baklava French toast and scrambled egg wraps.
A range of lighter and larger meals are sprinkled through the lunch offerings – try a honey roasted root vegetable salad or go all the way and get yourself the seafood plate for one with barramundi, oysters, mussels, prawns and calamari – don’t forget a glass of McLeish Semillon on the side.
The Brooks has now launched dinner on Friday and Saturday nights so you can watch the sun set over the lake and see the twinkles on the water as you savour well-crafted dishes, decadent desserts and award-winning wines.
