Fun with sprinkles

Cayley and Wade wanted a relaxed wedding without a lot of formalities. They also wanted a fun, informal cake. “So we thought what is more fun than sprinkles,” laughs Cayley. “We even made little bags of freckles as favours.” Merewether Surfhouse was the obvious choice for their wedding venue: both the bride and groom have served as volunteer surf lifesavers before moving to Newcastle. Most days after work they go for a walk along Bather’s Way and enjoy a swim in the baths.
