Pokolbin: Amanda’s on the Edge

For a dining experience in the vineyards with views, good food and fantastic wine, Amanda’s on the Edge has all the boxes ticked. Celebrating 21 years in business, Amanda’s is known for hearty, home-style meals with flavour and finesse. Perched overlooking Windsor’s Edge vineyard, the indoor seating is flanked by wide floor-to-ceiling windows to take in the outside vistas.

Tables are also dotted around the sweeping wraparound verandah, perfect for soaking in balmy breezes and the sunshine. Much of the produce is grown fresh in Amanda’s garden and the menu focuses on seasonality and quality. Try crab and snapper ravioli with champagne butter sauce, followed by scotch fillet with duck fat roasted potatoes or a warming lamb rogan josh.

With a glass of local wine, indulge in a lazy long lunch and enjoy the changing colours over the vines while the sun sets. Stay for the night in one of their cottages so you can finish the rest of the bottle.
