Self-guided cycling adventure
There’s no better way to experience a socially distanced holiday than by exploring your backyard on two wheels.
The newly launched Australian Cycle Tours allow you to hit the uncrowded trails and reconnect with nature on a series of self-guided cycling experiences, graded from introductory to challenging.
To make things even more appealing, all the hassles and logistics have been taken care of already, from your accommodation, luggage transfers and modern 21-speed bicycle or electric bike hire, right down to detailed route mapping information.
The self-guided experience allows you to travel at your own pace and enjoy flexible itineraries while still practising social distancing in some of the most picturesque regions in Australia. The tours also offer an eco-friendly, low impact travel option, with all tours 100 per cent carbon offset.
Australian Cycle Tours offer a range of destinations around Australia, allowing you to navigate the back lanes, streets and roads of coastlines, quaint towns and rural countryside, with detailed route descriptions and maps to assist along the way.
Accommodation ranges from charming two, three or four star hotels to inns and vineyard stays that embrace the local flavour and style.
Tours are currently offered in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania, and range anywhere from three to eight days in length.
Destinations in NSW include the Blue Mountains, the South Coast and Mudgee, as well as four fantastic trips through the heart of the Hunter’s wine country.
