The Poyer’s
If you’ve never ventured to Lemon Tree Passage, you don’t know what you’re missing. A meal at the delightful restaurant The Poyer’s is the perfect reason to make the trip to this hidden Port Stephens gem. Perched over the water where Tilligerry Creek runs into the mighty Karuah River, it’s one of those places for beautiful breakfasts and long, lazy lunches.
Family owned and showcasing stunning local produce, head chef and owner Ludovic Poyer has crafted a menu which features plenty of seafood, fresh ingredients and classic techniques. Breakfast showcases the humble egg: whether it be scrambled, Benedict, omelettes or fried, while lunch and dinner is all about luscious seafood – think oysters, scallops, abalone and the tastiest catch of the day.
There’s plenty to tempt for non-pescatarians as well. Mouth-watering desserts await you at the finish, with a solid Australian wine list to accompany the dishes. Take friends, take out-of-towners or just take yourself for a wonderful meal.
Open Wed–Sun breakfast and lunch, Fri–Sat for dinner.
