Third time’s the charm
After two years of COVID induced delays, Dom and Ally made it to the altar on their third attempt. Fr. Gerard Mackie surprised everyone by suggesting they clap as the bride was entering the church, to celebrate that the couple finally got to say ‘I do’ in front of family and friends.
“It was so uplifting and exciting,” Dom says, adding “after we came back out through the church doors, Ally’s veil was swept away by the wind, flew through the air and landed on a nearby tree. It was like something out of a movie and all we could do was laugh.” Befitting for the owners of local adventure tours company CoastXP, the couple enjoyed a magical photoshoot on the beach.
