Julia Foyster launched Tweed Real Food to help the family farm become more independent from the relentless challenges of floods and droughts.
Julia came to Australia as a backpacker looking for adventure. She fell in love with the Australian countryside, the Aussie lifestyle and, most importantly, with one of the farmers she was working for. Ten years later and married with two kids she had seen first hand how bumper crops can be swept away by floods in mere minutes. Having experimented extensively with flavours that would best complement the produce from the family farm, she decided to launch Tweed Real Food, a range of seasonings, rubs and flavoured balsamic vinegars.
“I wanted to bring delicious, easy-to-use, all natural flavours into Australian kitchens,” she says. “My vision is to contribute to the joy families experience when sharing healthy, home cooked meals around the dinner table.”
