Lake Macquarie – 8 at Trinity

This stylish new restaurant is set right on the waterfront at Trinity Point on the shores of Lake Macquarie, offering an Italian-inspired menu with plenty of fresh seafood. Start with one of their renowned tasting plates to share. Seafood lovers won’t be able to resist the Premium Tasting Plate with freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters, kingfish ceviche, Moreton bay bugs and lemon poached Queensland tiger prawns.
There are also generous share plates tailored to meat lovers and vegetarians.

The wood fired pizza is excellent and the quality pasta choices will also please, from the house-made royal potato and stracciatella gnocchi to the pappardelle with a hearty braised lamb shoulder ragu.
The dessert menu is impressive with tempting choices like the apple tarte tatin and the steamed vanilla cheesecake with berries, graham crumble and honeycomb.

Open Thursday to Sunday, lunch 11.30am to 4pm and dinner 5.30pm to 9.30pm.
