Charlestown: Public speaking made easy

Alpha Toastmasters Newcastle have made it their mission to help people overcome their fear of public speaking. Is your stomach churning at the thought of standing up in front of a group or even a crowd and speaking your mind?

Alpha Toastmasters offer regular meetings and a six-week public speaking course to overcome that fear and have fun along the way. Whether you need to prepare for a job interview, a wedding speech, or deliver a work presentation, toastmasters aim to give you the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation. Members come from all walks of life – from students to retirees. The only restriction is that an individual must be at least 18 years of age to join.

As a member, you’ll learn and practice in a friendly, supportive environment with people who are there for the same reason you are – to develop their confidence and to become better communicators.
Alpha Toastmasters Club Newcastle meets at Charlestown on Mondays at 6:30 pm. Visitors are most welcome. There is no obligation to join and nothing to lose except a fear of public speaking.
