Newcastle: Riding for sick kids
Ronald McDonald House Charities NSW (RMHC) have hosted their 18th annual Ride for Sick Kids this September, raising funds for seriously ill or injured children and their families.
A team of 25 riders have cycled over 500kms from Inverell to Newcastle, raising $200,000 which will provide 1,400 nights of accommodation for families in need. Ross Bingham, CEO for RMHC Northern NSW, said, “We are very excited to be welcoming back our annual Ride for Sick Kids event in its physical format following two years of virtual rides.
