Owned and run by Medowie locals Charlie and Ben Way (formerly of Nelson Bay’s Little Beach Boathouse) this venue is all about bringing the community together around classic bistro fare and regular live music events, a concept that has earned them the OneMusic Excellence Award at this year’s Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence.

It’s the perfect place to enjoy spicy wings or a steak sandwich, a roasted mushroom burger, maple roasted pumpkin salad, delicious pasta or some creamy garlic prawns while listening to the tunes of
local artists.

Expect simple, yet skilfully prepared dishes, daily specials and a cocktail menu featuring interesting variations of well-known standards like a lychee Mojito or salted caramel Martini.

Open Wednesday from 4.30pm, Thursday to Saturday from 11.30am and Sunday from 10am. Kitchen closes at 2pm for lunch and 8pm for dinner.
