Lake Munmorah – La Notte Uno

It’s a blink-and-you-missed it unassuming restaurant on the Pacific Highway, but step inside and you’ll be welcomed with vivacious flair and a menu featuring all the pasta classics you would expect at a family-owned Italian eatery.

From Napolitana and Bolognese to marinara and matrigiana, the sauces are tasty and authentic, with your choice of penne, fettucini or spaghetti.

The chicken boscaiola is a crowd pleaser, as is the veal saltimbocca and Porterhouse grill with creamy garlic king prawns or a garlic butter sauce.

Chef and owner Tony serves up generous proportions with a side of friendly chatter and personal service.
Watch out for the specials board where you will regularly find crunchy arancini balls, a Sicilian hot pot with sausage, onion and prawns in white wine or a seafood basket.

Open for lunch from 11.30am, Tuesday to Sunday. For dinner from 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
