Pokolbin – Pescara Restaurant
Following a tree change, restaurateurs Kelvin Foster and partner Nicole have opened Pescara Restaurant at Hermitage Lodge. Refreshed interiors are warm and welcoming – think your favourite neighbourhood Italian restaurant where dishes are generous and made with love.
Entrée favourites include prawns in a pot of napolitana sauce with garlic and chilli, or delicious spaghettini with blue swimmer crab, chilli and cherry tomatoes.
For mains there are butterflied scampi with lemon butter and garlic, moreish polpette meatballs and crumbed veal cutlets with creamed spinach. Desserts include semi freddo, tiramisu and crêpes with Grand Marnier and vanilla gelato.
The well priced wine list has an extensive mix of local, Australian and Italian wines. They also have a bar with a choice of ten classic cocktails and aperitivo style bites.
Monday and Thursday from 5.30pm; Friday – Sunday 12pm – 3pm and from 5.30pm.
