Corey, the General Manager for All Event Cruises identified a pressing need for larger, more versatile event spaces in Newcastle, and “Calmer” perfectly fits the bill.
“For a very long time, Newcastle hasn’t had a boat of this size,” says Corey. “It’s hard to find a space that caters for more than 200 people in the Newcastle CBD, but ‘Calmer’ is licensed to carry up to 470. Also, a lot of people in Newcastle haven’t really had the opportunity to enjoy the harbour from the water. Being able to get out there and experience the city from a different perspective is fantastic.”
